In addition to developing and pitching cartoon series, I am working with Salty Graphic Studios on a new animated series by Cory Edwards (Hoodwinked, Hoodwinked Too).  The new series is part of the YouTube Initiative.  that is being launched Spring 2012.  Production begins right after the holidays.  I’ll send more about the series when I can.

Cartoon updates!

The last couple of weeks have been filled with some great meetings!  Two weeks ago I was in New York meeting with Nickelodeon at their Viacom offices in Times Square.  This last week, I met with Nickelodeon again to show off our properties to Nickelodeon Studios in Burbank, California.  Both meetings were great and we are getting very positive responses from every network we meet with.

 I also got the privilege to head over to Disney Animation to meet with Noah Jones.  He was a great host and gave me a super cool tour of Disney Animation.

 In addition to the great responses we have been getting from the three major networks, there are a few other avenues that we are interested in pursuing.  It’s always exciting to see how things are developing!

I performed improv last weekend with Laughing Matters at their Battle Acts show.  It was a lot of fun and we had a great turn out.  Next to pizza and ice cream, improv is definitely my most favorite thing ever.

I recently met with Cartoon Network and Frederator Studios in NYC regarding our latest cartoon series that we have developed.  These meetings went great and are leading to several follow up meetings in LA and NYC.  I’ll keep everyone updated on the progress.

I haven’t posted much this past month because I’ve been busy with a lot of great projects.  In the last month I have produced a couple of promos for clients in the ATL area, edited and animated a few national broadcast pieces, and continued the development of our cartoon series.
I will also be performing improv next Saturday in downtown ATL.  I’ll post the time and location for those in the area.
